What Is Card Shop Metal, and Can You Buy Cards from It in Thailand?

Card Shop Metal is a Kanagawa card shop selling cheap singles for Duel Masters, Gundam, Digimon, Lorcana and other games, but no Pokémon or One Piece. It ships within Japan only, so buyers in Thailand send the link to a Tama-Chan admin to order for them.

What is Card Shop Metal?

Card Shop Metal is the card shop of Metal, a company founded in 2021 in Kanagawa. It has a physical store in Yamato, near Minami-Rinkan station, and sells online as well.

It does not sell Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic. It focuses on cards such as Duel Masters, Digimon, Gundam, Disney Lorcana, Haikyu!!, Detective Conan, Xross Stars and Flesh and Blood.

The store is also a Pokémon Card Gym, but that refers to events held in the shop; the website sells no Pokémon cards.

What does Card Shop Metal sell?

Card Shop Metal focuses on cheap singles; it says so right in the site header. The commons you need several of to finish a deck are here, all the way up to parallels and secrets, plus booster boxes and supplies.

But Card Shop Metal does not sell graded cards.

Rare cards tend to sell out fast, while cheap cards usually have several copies in stock.

Examples on Card Shop Metal (captured 10 October 2026)

Gundam Sinanju LR+ parallel An LR+ parallel from the ST03 Zeon's Rush deck, condition A.
Duel Masters Gaiash Kaiser secret rare A secret from the DM26-SD1 deck with the 25th-anniversary logo on the card, condition A.
Digimon Gaiamon parallel SEC A SEC parallel promo card, condition A.

What do the letters A, B and C on the card image mean?

The shop puts a condition letter in the top-left corner of the product image. A means no marks or very slight ones; B means a small scratch or chip, usually in one spot; C means large scratches or several chips. Creased cards are not sold at all.

Cheap cards only get A or C, and an A at that end can include B-quality copies. For play, that is no problem.

The product photo is a sample, and some carry a SAMPLE watermark. You receive the card named in the listing even if it does not look exactly like the picture. Other shops label condition differently; compare them in how Japanese shops label condition.

Can you order from Card Shop Metal yourself in Thailand?

No. The shop only ships within Japan and does not hold or reserve items.

The thing to watch is the per-person limit. Many cards have it in red under the price, such as 4 per person. Ordering a limited card again, including through Metal's shops on other marketplaces, gets the order cancelled, and repeat offenders may be banned.

Stock is shared with Metal's shops on other marketplaces and updates every 5 minutes, so a card that shows as available can be gone before you order.

Ordering from Card Shop Metal through Tama-Chan

Tama-Chan can order from Card Shop Metal for you. Found the card you want? Send its link to an admin on LINE, or just tell the admin which card you want and its card number, and they will find it for you. The team checks the price and stock, then quotes a baht total before you decide.

If you want several copies of one card, send the quantity with the link. The admin orders them in one go within the shop's limit, because two separate orders get cancelled.

Rates are on the service fee table. For shops that sell Pokémon or One Piece, see the card shop round-up.

Frequently asked questions

Not on the website. The shop does not sell Pokémon, One Piece or Yu-Gi-Oh!, even though the physical store is a Pokémon Card Gym.
