Sea and air shipping at a glance
Shipping back to Thailand is charged on the weight measured after packing.
- Sea: ฿150 per kg, dropping to ฿135 from 100 kg, 30-35 days.
- Air, general goods: ฿850 per kg, or ฿990 if any side is longer than 100 cm, 4-7 days.

Send-only (items you bought yourself in Japan): air freight for general goods is ฿1,000 per kg, or ฿1,200 if any side is longer than 100 cm, with a 1 kg minimum.

- •Items with any one side over 150 cm cannot be shipped.

Fees and shipping — frequently asked questions
Sea freight is ฿150 per kg, dropping with total weight: ฿145 from 30 kg, ฿140 from 50 kg, and ฿135 from 100 kg. Transit takes 30-35 days.
Air freight is ฿850 per kg for general goods, or ฿990 per kg for items with any side longer than 100 cm, such as golf clubs and guitars. Transit takes 4-7 days.
Sea is roughly 5-6 times cheaper per kilo but takes 30-35 days and leaves once a week — best for heavy or bulky items you are not waiting on.
Air takes 4-7 days, leaves twice a week, and is charged from as little as 0.1 kg, which suits light items such as trading cards and figures, high-value goods, or anything you need soon.
The buying and bidding service fee is ฿70 per item, separate from the item price and the shipping cost.
The item price is the yen price multiplied by the exchange rate on the day the order is actually placed — for example, an item at ¥10,000 on a 0.2200 rate comes to ฿2,200.
Orders placed through Tama-Chan have no minimum weight by sea; by air the minimum is 0.1 kg (100 g).
Send-only parcels you bought yourself in Japan are charged from a 1 kg minimum.
Items that are light but bulky — car bumpers, car windscreens, car seats — are charged by sea on the volume of the box after packing, using width × length × height (in metres) × 14,500.
For example, a 20 × 95 × 35 cm box works out to 0.2 × 0.95 × 0.35 × 14,500 = ฿964.25.
- Bank transfer and QR code payments carry no extra fee
- Credit card payments add 3.5%
- A 50% deposit on the item price adds 3%
Air freight cannot carry items with any single side over 150 cm, or items whose three sides (width + length + height) total more than 300 cm.
If you are not sure whether an item qualifies, ask an admin before sending it.
